FAQ’s

NO THIS IS NOT A RACE.

It is however a timed event and all finishers will receive a personal completion time and a medal.

Yes absolutely, the 70km route is designed for e-bikes and MTB riders.

Both courses are aimed at riders of road/race bikes but that doesn’t mean you can’t ride any other kind of bike if you want to.

We do suggest that people who ride regularly and want a challenge have a go at the 110km route.

Due to the shape of our lovely island there are some hills on both routes.

The 70km route will climb 3 hills and a couple of rises, whereas the 110km takes in a couple of bays and valleys too.

Not at all.

The 70km route will be a good ride to give you the confidence to tackle a longer distance next year.

There will be an emergency number for serious mechanical issues but we advise you to get your bike checked by a bike shop before you ride.

Please take a puncture repair kit and spares with you on the day.
